MAJVERA is a proposed framework for examining consequential decisions in major public-sector projects and programmes. John Robinson invites specific, evidence-based feedback on its architecture and explanation.

Choose a manageable scope

An initial review may focus on Chapter 2, one selected case or a clearly defined question. Agree the extract, expected effort and return date before starting. A request of approximately 60–90 minutes is a starting point for discussion, not a demand for a comprehensive assessment.

The main manuscript is version 0.14 and the casebook is version 0.17, both dated 28 October 2026. Confirm the exact extract and version supplied for your review.

Answer three core questions

  1. What is inaccurate, unsupported or inconsistent?
  2. What does MAJVERA add to existing practice, and where does it duplicate it?
  3. What specific change would make the material more useful for professional work or teaching?

Record strengths worth preserving as well as weaknesses. For each material comment, identify the page or section, explain the consequence for a particular reader, and propose a practical correction. Give replacement wording where it helps. Distinguish a demonstrated contradiction from an interpretation or an issue requiring further evidence.

Compare fairly with existing governance

Use the actual protection and its operation as the basis of comparison. A different name, the absence of MAJVERA terminology or the occurrence of an overrun does not by itself establish a governance gap.

  1. Identify the protection already provided and the evidence showing how it operates.
  2. Identify any mechanism or decision that MAJVERA would add or explain more clearly.
  3. Identify duplication, conflicting responsibilities and the additional effort required.
  4. Explain who would use the result and what observation would demonstrate additional value.

If existing practice provides equivalent protection, record that result. If internal procedures are unavailable, explain the limit on the comparison rather than infer that a protection is absent.

Preserve the development status

The framework and manuscripts remain under development. Reconciliation with historical technical records is open. The case studies do not demonstrate that MAJVERA would have prevented the recorded outcomes or achieved particular savings.

Manuscript preparation and the current editorial analysis used AI assistance. The use of twenty analytical perspectives does not constitute twenty independent human reviews. Independent review and practical evaluation remain necessary; no accreditation, institutional endorsement or demonstrated operational effectiveness is claimed.

A focused review supports conclusions about the material actually examined. It does not validate both books or establish the effectiveness of the entire framework.
